The Pitch: This Australian import features creator/star Chris Lilley playing three different characters in a mockumentary about the titular high school: narcissistic drama teacher Mr. G, stuck-up popular girl Ja'mie and foul-mouthed troublemaker Jonah. All three interact with other students and teachers played by different, age- and gender-appropriate actors, and the show is filmed at a real-life high school with actual students as background players.

Verdict: Lilley is a sensation in his native Australia, so maybe something has been lost in translation, but I found this show almost entirely unfunny. Lilley's three characters embody well-worn stereotypes, and his reliance on the comedy of awkwardness feels like a high-school retread of the original The Office, and is extremely repetitive.
