Better Off Ted, one of the best new shows of last season and one of the best TV comedies of 2009, has its season premiere this week. Here's a look at the first two episodes.
Where We Left Off: Ted and his quirky co-workers were doing their best to get through life being employed by the world's most nefarious/bizarre corporation, Veridian Dynamics.
How the New Season Shapes Up: These two episodes may not be among Ted's best, but they do showcase what the show does well, sticking with the basic structure of a workplace comedy while exploring the neuroses of some very odd people, and filling the background with great gags about the diabolical and nonsensical work done at Veridian. It's great to see the show back for a second season, and I hope enough people will watch it to keep it around.
