No single TV comedy dominated this year's Golden Globes, as overrated Fox newcomer Glee took home the prize for best series, taking advantage of the little-used "musical" part of the category, while Toni Collette (pictured) of United States of Tara captured best actress, and repeat winner Alec Baldwin of 30 Rock scored again as best actor. My take: Glee is semi-amusing, sloppily written and tonally inconsistent, and would be nothing without Jane Lynch. Collette gives the kind of showy performance, week after week, that awards-givers love, and has been better in many other things. But Alec Baldwin is awesome, so I'll let that one slide.
