The nominations for the Golden Globes were announced earlier today, with many familiar names in the list of nominees, including Modern Family, 30 Rock and The Big Bang Theory. HBO's Girls also made a strong showing, and the Globes voters continued their somewhat inexplicable love for Showtime's mediocre Episodes. NBC's musical drama Smash also showed up among the comedy or musical series nominees, replacing Glee as the token hourlong show. Check out the list of TV comedy nominees.
