The 2010 Emmys for TV comedy were dominated by two new shows, ABC's half-hour family comedy Modern Family and Fox's hourlong musical dramedy Glee. Both shows racked up multiple nominations, including 19 for Glee, and Modern Family dominated the supporting actor and actress categories. They both came away with several of the top prizes as well. Traditional favorites like 30 Rock and The Office were also nominated, but in smaller proportions, and they didn't end up taking home any awards.
