Simon Helberg as Howard Wolowitz From CBS Comedy 'The Big Bang Theory'

On the CBS comedy The Big Bang Theory, Simon Helberg plays Howard Wolowitz, an aerospace engineer and friend to fellow nerds Leonard and Sheldon. Howard is nearly as socially awkward as his friends, but he masks it with extreme self-confidence, fancying himself a ladies' man and hitting on any woman he comes across. He still lives with his overbearing mother and is often mocked by his friends for that, as well as for his lack of a doctoral degree.
