History:
$#*! My Dad Says started out as a Twitter feed written by Justin Halpern, a former magazine writer documenting the outrageous things his father said. Thanks to its popularity, it was optioned as a sitcom by CBS in 2009, with Will & Grace creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan brought on to produce. Halpern collaborated with Mutchnick and Kohan on the pilot, and the show premiered on CBS in fall 2010. After negative reviews and mediocre ratings, the show lasted 13 episodes and was canceled by CBS.
