Breaking In follows the work of Contra Security, an offbeat group of technology experts who take extreme, sometimes questionable measures in their work as consultants on security for corporations, institutions and wealthy individuals.

History:
Breaking In was first developed in early 2010 and announced as a midseason replacement in November 2010. After premiering in April 2011, the show aired only seven episodes and was left off of Fox's fall schedule for the following season. However, in August 2011, the network announced it would be picking up a 13-episode second season to air in early 2012.
