History:
Originally titled Next, The Paul Reiser Show was picked up by NBC in May 2010 based on six episodes already written by Reiser and Jonathan Shapiro. It was announced as part of the network’s fall 2010-2011 schedule, and eventually premiered in April 2011. The show was such a ratings failure that NBC pulled it from the schedule after airing only two of the seven produced episodes.
