'Hank' Profile

Hank the sitcom is about Hank the husband, father and disgraced businessman, who moves his family back to his hometown after losing his fortune. The formerly rich family must contend with much more modest accommodations, and Hank must contend with actually having to interact with his wife and kids.

September 30-November 4, 2009 (five episodes) on ABC

History:

Hank debuted in fall 2009 as part of ABC's new Wednesday-night comedy block, along with The Middle, Modern Family and Cougar Town. While the three other shows were all single-camera productions with varying degrees of positive reviews and solid ratings, Hank was poorly reviewed and little-watched, and ABC canceled it after five episodes.

Creators:

Hank was created by Tucker Cawley, a former writer and producer for Parks and Recreation and Everybody Loves Raymond. Cawley, Tom Werner, Mike Clements and star Kelsey Grammer serve as executive producers.
