Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns, based on the film of the same name, follows the Brown family, whose patriarch, Leroy, operates a nursing home. His daughter Cora, his nephew Will, and Will’s wife Sasha, among others, help Leroy deal with the crazy residents of Brown Meadows.

History:
Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns started life as a stage play by the extremely successful Perry, who then wrote and directed a film version in 2008. Thanks to the popularity of Tyler Perry’s House of Payne, also on TBS, Meet the Browns debuted as a series in January 2009, featuring stars David Mann and Tamela Mann, both of whom were featured in the play and the film as well.
