’Til Death is about the longtime marriage of Philadelphia suburbanites Eddie and Joy Stark, who despite their differences provide examples both to their newlywed neighbors and to Eddie’s recently divorced friend. They may not always get along, but they love each other.

History:
’Til Death has undergone a number of changes and retoolings since its premiere as a sitcom about one longtime married couple (the Starks) and one pair of newlyweds (their neighbors, the Woodcocks, played by Eddie Kaye Thomas and Kat Foster). In the third season, the Woodcocks were written out as the show shifted to focus on the Starks, and Eddie’s divorced friend Kenny (J.B. Smoove) came aboard as the main contrast to the Starks. For the fourth season in 2009-2010, Kenny was written out, and the Starks’ daughter Ali and her boyfriend Doug became full-time cast members.
