'Two and a Half Men' Profile

Charlie Harper, confirmed bachelor and successful writer of advertising jingles, has his world turned upside down when his brother Alan and Alan’s son Jake move in with him following Alan’s separation from his wife. Charlie has to adjust his self-indulgent ways to make room for family, and he, Alan and Jake all have to deal with unexpected new developments in their lives.

History:

Two and a Half Men has consistently been one of CBS’ most popular shows since its premiere in 2003. The show has been nominated for numerous Emmy and Golden Globe awards, but has only won Emmys in technical categories.

Creators:

Two and a Half Men was created by Chuck Lorre and Lee Aronsohn. Lorre is the creator behind such successful sitcoms as Grace Under Fire, Cybill, Dharma & Greg and The Big Bang Theory. Lorre and Aronsohn serve as executive producers alongside Eric and Kim Tannenbaum, Mark Burg and Oren Koules.
