Weeds began as a series about widowed suburban mother Nancy Botwin turning to marijuana-dealing as a way to support her family. Since then, Nancy’s gotten deeper into the drug trade, involved her family and friends in the business and even moved near the Mexican border to work as a drug runner. Through it all, she’s remained dedicated to doing what she needs to do to provide for her loved ones.
