Ed O’Neil will always and forever be Al Bundy. However since landing the role of patriarch Jay Pritchett on Modern Family in 2009, O’Neil has shed his Bundy image, somewhat. Between his now two famous roles, Ed kept busy with guest appearances on shows like 8 Simple Rules, with former costar Katey Sagal and In living Color, as well as recurring roles on shows like The West Wing and John From Cincinnati. O’Neil was also cast in the remake of Dragnet as Sgt. Joe Friday but the show was canceled after only two seasons. He also reunited for a multi-episode arc on David Faustino’s short-lived show Star-ving.

She has gone on to have an amazing television career. Immediately following the shows end, she became the voice of Leala on the hit animated comedy Futureroma. Sagal went on to play Cate Hennessy, John Ritter’s wife on 8 Simple Rules. The show was canceled after three seasons and Ritter’s death. After 8 Simple Rules was over, Katey made a slew of guest appearances on shows like Lost, The Winner, Star-ving and Glee. Katey gained a lot of attention for playing Gemma Teller Morrow on the FX hit show Sons of Anarchy, which was also created by her husband Kurt Sutter. Pitch Perfect 2 fans got a glimpse of Katey’s singing talent when she played a mom of the newest Bella, Emily.
