Premise: Widower William “Big Bill” Cooper owns his family’s upscale soul food restaurant in Atlanta, named for his late wife, Belle. Bill has to take over running the restaurant while dealing with his two grown daughters (one single, one newly divorced), his precocious granddaughter, his feisty sister-in-law and his womanizing cousin, all of whom work or spend time at Belle’s.

Premise: After losing his job and his girlfriend, Tom Chadwick decides to embark upon a project to research his family history, thanks to a box of heirlooms inherited from his late great-aunt. This mockumentary series from Christopher Guest (writer-director of Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, A Mighty Wind) features Tom encountering a range of odd characters as he learns more about his unusual lineage.

How to Live With Your Parents (For the Rest of Your Life)

Premise: Struggling following her divorce, single mother Polly decides to take her young daughter and move back in with her free-spirited mother and stepfather. Polly tries to jump-start her social life, while her parents get a new lesson in responsibility.

'Kroll Show'

Premise: Comedian Nick Kroll (co-star of The League) stars in a sketch-comedy series taking on current topics in pop culture and featuring many of his popular characters from online videos, including the Ed Hardy Boyz, Bobby Bottleservice, Fabrice Fabrice and the Rich Dicks, plus new characters. Kroll plays multiple characters alongside various guest stars.

Premise: Australian comedian Jim Jefferies plays himself, a struggling stand-up comedian living in Los Angeles and trying to make a name for himself. In his efforts to make his life and career more “legit,” Jim gets encouragement from his neurotic best friend and roommate Steve and Steve’s disabled brother Billy.

Premise: This spinoff from Childrens Hospital continues Adult Swim’s trend of creating parody versions of TV’s most popular genres. In this case, it’s a take-off on the overly serious newsmagazine, with pompous host Louis La Fonda reporting on completely useless stories that aren’t exactly news. A rotating cast of guest stars will appear as subjects, including Ed Begley Jr., Dave Foley, Joey McIntyre, Mary Lynn Rajskub and actual news legend Dan Rather.

'Real Husbands of Hollywood'

Premise: This mock-reality show parodies series like Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise, featuring real-life celebrities playing themselves as the “husbands of Hollywood,” married to powerful showbiz women (except for lead Kevin Hart, who’s divorced). The partially improvised comedy showcases the stars engaged in comedic takes on typical reality-TV antics, and interacting with celebrity guests, all playing themselves.

'Second Generation Wayans'

Premise: Younger Wayans family members Damien Dante and Craig (nephews of the more famous Wayans, including Damon, Keenen Ivory, Kim, Marlon and Shawn) play themselves, struggling young actor/comedians who want to create an identity for themselves apart from their famous family. Along with their friend George, they start their own production company, all while dealing with typical relationship drama and other everyday issues.
